Please read this policy carefully before completing your booking. By confirming a booking through BreakFlights, you agree to the terms outlined below, as well as the cancellation and refund policies of the relevant airline.

At BreakFlights, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds and cancellations are processed for flight bookings facilitated by our team of travel agents on your behalf.
BreakFlights acts as an independent travel agency — a third-party intermediary between you and the airline. We do not set airline fare rules or refund policies. Refund eligibility is primarily determined by the fare type purchased and the airline's applicable cancellation policy, in addition to our own service terms.
By confirming a booking with BreakFlights, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy as well as our full Terms & Conditions.
24-Hour Cancellation Window
This applies to all fare types — including non-refundable tickets — as long as the booking was made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled departure date and the cancellation request is received within 24 hours of the original booking time.

💳 Refund Timeline — 24-Hour Cancellations
Full refunds under the 24-hour policy are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
Refundable vs Non-Refundable Tickets
The refundability of your ticket depends on the fare type selected and confirmed at the time of booking. Your agent will clearly explain the fare conditions before any payment is collected.
✅ Refundable Fares
Eligible for a full refund to the original payment method, minus any applicable BreakFlights service fee, when cancelled before the scheduled departure date.
⚠️ Non-Refundable Fares
Not eligible for a cash refund after the 24-hour window. Depending on the airline's policy, the remaining ticket value may be held as a travel credit for future use.
🚫 Basic Economy Fares
Generally non-refundable and non-changeable after purchase. Please review all fare conditions carefully before confirming a Basic Economy booking.

Airline-Initiated Changes & Cancellations
Significant changes that qualify for a full refund include any of the following made by the airline without your agreement:
- Departure or arrival time changes of 3 or more hours
- Changes to your departure or arrival airport
- Additional connections or layovers added to your itinerary
- A downgrade in cabin class (e.g. from Business to Economy)
- Full flight cancellation by the operating airline

⏳ Processing Time — Airline-Initiated Refunds
Refunds for airline-initiated cancellations or significant changes are typically processed within 7–14 business days, depending on the airline's own processing timelines. BreakFlights will follow up on your behalf throughout the process.
Change Fees & Rebooking
If you need to change your travel dates, route, or passenger details after the 24-hour cancellation window has closed, the following applies:
No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs when a passenger does not board their flight and has not cancelled or changed their booking in advance. The following rules apply:
🚫 Non-Refundable No-Shows
If you hold a non-refundable fare and do not board your flight without prior cancellation, the ticket is generally non-refundable and the full value of the ticket is forfeited in accordance with the airline's no-show policy.
✅ Refundable No-Shows
If you hold a refundable fare and contact BreakFlights before your scheduled departure, you may still be eligible for a refund subject to the airline's applicable terms. Contact us immediately at +1 (667) 400-4427.
🔗 Missed Connecting Flights
If you miss a connecting flight due to a delay on a prior leg of the same booking, please contact BreakFlights immediately. We will work to rebook you on the next available flight at no additional charge where the airline permits.
Refund Processing & Timelines
All approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of booking. Refunds cannot be redirected to a different card or account.
